Guidance counseling

We are convinced that to achieve the full development of our students is not enough to stay within the classroom learning. That is why our teachers and qualified professionals involved and committed to their work continue to play a role of guides in the world around us (students, family and colleagues) and at all stages of development, from pre-school to sixth-form/high school.

What is offered?

As parents, the challenge is to provide the best education for the children. In our centre we offer advice on aspects that can most influence throughout the student’s school life.

We support the education of children by providing solutions to problems such as nutrition, behaviour, academic performance or addiction to new technologies.

In addition, we carry out many activities that count on their direct involvement with the International Diocesan School Virgen de Gracia, such as:

  • Talks – colloquium
  • Interviews with parents
  • Constant information on academic objectives
  • Collaborations in the classroom
  • Collaborations in the “parentsarea”. A space where families perform different teacher-oriented activities.
  • Workshop about motivating activities of interest for the students and the Centre.
  •  Union of the entire educational community in the organization of parties.

Also for teachers

In addition to supporting the educational work of parents, at school, we have created a space of advice focused on teachers. We are all the operating engine of this school, so that the exchange of information in the day to day between all the main pieces that form this School are important. And so we do. Online or face-to-face, we conduct advice consultations providing the knowledge, experience and support needed in any situation.

Our teachers and qualified professionals involved and committed to their work continue to play a role of guides in the world around us (students, family and colleagues) and at all stages of development, from pre-school to sixth-form/high school.

For the future of the students

Our students find in our team of teachers and qualified professionals an important support throughout all their educational stages, and especially in Secondary Education and Sixth-form. Due to the increase in the awareness of the students at these stages and the experienced personal development, the International Diocesan School Virgen de Gracia plays a greater role of guidance and support in guiding them to make the best decisions for a future.

Moving away from the idea of being exclusively transmitters of knowledge, we play roles in which we give up prominence to the student, our reason for being, and help them to make their own way. We will travel with them in their journey, previously detecting their strengths and weaknesses and guide them in a constant improvement.
